Carmela T. Saggese, 68, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 in Fort Wayne. Born in Boston, MA, Carmela worked as a administrative assistant with MedPro Group for over 16 years. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Surviving are her husband, Joseph Saggese of Fort Wayne; step-children, Stephanie (Carmen) Sacramone of Everett, MA and Adam Saggese of Melrose, MA; grandchildren, Erica and Dominic Sacramone, and Milania Saggese; her siblings, Sister Francis Meno, Frank (Paula) Bruno, Maureen Bruno, Ralph (RoRo) Bruno, Mark (Fran) Bruno, Peter (Lisa) Bruno, Ellen (Joe) Bentivegna, Robert Bruno, and Joseph (Stephanie) Bruno; brother-in-law, Gustin (Tanya) Saggese; and cousin, Terri Vellante-Hamm. Carmela was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Rose Bruno; and brother, Richard Bruno. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30am on Tuesday, January 9. 2018 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Rd with calling one hour prior. Calling also at D. O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Rd on Monday, January 8, 2018 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm with a Rosary service at 3:30 pm.
