Bonnie Lou Stanford, 76, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Heritage Park Health Care Center in Fort Wayne. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN, to the late W. Charles and Violet Martin. Bonnie was a compassionate and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother that will be remembered for her humor and unconditional love. Surviving are her husband, of 60 years John M Stanford, Sr. children, Barbara (Steve) Reeder, Patricia Hartig, John (Marie) Stanford Jr. siblings, Charles (Ruth) Martin, John (Carolyn) Martin, Bill (Diane) Martin, Eddie (Judy) Martin, Sandy Regan, 5 grandchildren, Dani (Doug) Reeder, Sarah (Kevin) Walters, Jamie (Mike) Benya, Johnny Stanford, Paul Stanford, great grandchildren, Lily, Jack and Hunter sister in law, Norma Martin brothers in law, Jim Deaton, Jack Regan. A special thank you to her honorary angels, Stacey, Joanne, Kimball and all the Heritage Park staff and Dennis and Angie Quickery.Bonnie was preceded in death by brothers, Henry, Eddie Martin, twin sister, Betty Deaton, sister Sue Gause, son in law, Mike Hartig, grandson, Wesley Reeder and a great-grandson Charlie. Service is 1:30 pm, Monday July 24, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road with calling 2 hours prior, Rev. Murray Clugston officiating. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
