Bonnie G. Burk, 71, passed away on August 29, 2017. She was born on October 28, 1945 in Kendallville, IN, the daughter of the late Carl "Joe" and Vivian Barger.
Bonnie worked as an office manager and cashier at Roger's Market for 19 years, and a bookkeeper for Kroger/Scott grocery stores for 20 years before her retirement. She was a member of Robinson Chapel United Methodist Church for 10 years. Bonnie enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and cross stitch in her spare time.
Surviving are her spouse of 52 years, Richard Burk; children, Elizabeth (Matt) Nantkes, and Deborah (Scott) Nolan; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and sister, Peggy (Peter)Smith.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Barger.
A funeral service will be held at 3pm on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Robinson Chapel United Methodist Church, 12707 Tonkel Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46845, with calling 1-hour prior.
Visitation will take place from 2-4 and 6-8pm on Friday, September 1, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park, 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46805.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Robinson Chapel Building fund.
