Blix Ann Fredrick , 72, passed away Friday, September 23, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, Blix graduated from Huntertown HS and Ball State University. She was a Building Deputy for the Walb Student Union at IPFW for 30 years, retiring in 2014. She was an avid reader and loved to garden, watch movies and TV and travel and spend time at Great Lakes. Surviving are her sons, Jay (Peggy) Fredrick of Las Vegas, NV; Kevin (Gerri) Fredrick of Bloomington, IN; Graham Fredrick of Fort Wayne, IN; daughter, Leanne Fredrick of Fort Wayne, IN; brother, Philip Siepert of San Francisco, CA; grandchildren, Megan and Brian Fredrick and, Austin Ceasor. Blix was preceded in death by her parents, Edmund T. and Ruth Ellen Siepert, Service is 10:30 am, Wednesday September 28, 2016 at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue with calling one hour prior. Calling also Tuesday, September 27, 2016, from 2 - 5 & 7 - 9 pm at the funeral home.
