Bernadine Ramsey, 64, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 in Indianapolis. Born in St. Louis, MO, Bernadine worked as a contractor with Boeing for 30 years and retired from the county of Los Angeles after 15 years of service. She was a member of KRST Community Center in Los Angeles, CA. She enjoyed reading and was an accomplished writer. She loved to be with her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be missed greatly. Surviving are her three children, Dionne (Eliott) Ramsey-Castro of Jersey City, NJ, Kenneth (Shantee) Ramsey of Indianapolis, IN, and Dara Ramsey of Los Angeles, CA; grandchildren, Keairrase Cato, Khamani Ramsey, Khamari Ramsey, Kieondre Ramsey, and Elaina Joyelle Castro; one great-granddaughter, Myairrase Mosley; siblings, Marvine, Deborah, and Bridget Logan all of Fort Wayne, Rhonda Evans, Vanessa Perry, both of Fort Wayne, Gail Kennard, and Myron Logan of St. Louis, MO; a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins; and a very dear friend, Barbara Boggs. Bernadine was preceded in death by her parents Thelma Marie Logan-Bishop and McKinley Logan, Jr. Service is 12:00 pm, Saturday, June 30, 2018 at New Covenant Worship Center, 3420 E Paulding Rd. Calling at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue, Friday, June 29, 2018, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
