Barbara R. Erb, 84, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2017. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN on July 8, 1932 the daughter of the late Emmett and Julia Rauner. Barb graduated from Central Catholic High School. She was an executive secretary at I&M for 25 years where she eventually retired from. In Barb's spare time she loved playing bridge, listening to music, and enjoying a glass of wine. She enjoyed a wonderful 50 years of marriage with Richard Erb until he passed away in 2007. Surviving are her children; Ann Erb-Leoncavallo, Susan (Doug Middleton) Erb, Karen (Ricky) Hernandez, and David Erb; grandchildren, Philip and Alex Hernandez, Ava and Gina Leoncavallo; great-grandchild, Jude Hernandez; siblings, Carolyn Sawyer, Marjorie Morken, and Judy Borden. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 2pm at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church 1502 E. Wallen Road Ft. Wayne, IN 46825 on Monday, May 1, 2017 with visitation 1 hour prior. Burial to take place at a later date at Highland Park Cemetery Fort Wayne, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dementia and Alzheimer's association at ALZ.com or American Cancer Society.
