Barbara Ann (Willen) Odier passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 2, 2017. She was born in Albany, KY, the daughter of the late Curtis and Ola Anna (Craft) Willen. Raised in Ft Wayne, IN, she was a graduate of Central High in 1957. Two years later Barbara married Lynn Odier, her husband of 58 years. After several years in Fort Wayne, they moved to Bloomington, IN, where they lived for nearly 45 years. Throughout her life, Barbara loved cooking, sharing her home with friends and family, and watching IU Basketball and Indianapolis Colts games. She is survived by her husband Lynn, her sons Marc and Darin (Susan), and her treasured grandchildren, Thomas, Mackenzie, Natalie and Audrey. She is also survived by her siblings, Charles (Mary Jane) Willen, Jo (Roy) Deford, Norma (Ken) Buhrman, and numerous nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Patricia Schaefer. Funeral service will be held 10AM on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Seminary United Methodist Church, 285 Seminary St., Roanoke, IN 46783.
Visitation will be on Friday, August 4, 2017 from 4-8pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804.
Interment will take place at Prairie Grove cemetery, Fort Wayne, IN.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, or the Alzheimer's Association.
