Barbara A. Mills, 88, passed away Friday, January 27, 2017 at Woodview Health Care Center. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Barbara was the daughter of the late Homer and Leona Widdifield. She graduated from North Side High School and graduated from the Methodist School of Nursing. She was an Registered Nurse with Parkview Hospital for many years before retiring in 1984. She was a member of Taylor Chapel United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, collecting music box's and Beanie Babies. She loved her family and cherished her grandchildren. Surviving are her children; Mike (Trina) Mills of Leo, Leslie (Terry) Flatt of Hudson, FL, Sandra (Kent) Oswald, Cheryl (Neil) Harmeyer both of Fort Wayne; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter, and her beloved dog Jake. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband David Mills. Service is 11:00 am, Friday, February 3, 2017 at D. O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road with calling one hour prior, Pastor Steven K. Conner officiating. Calling at the funeral home Thursday, February 2, 2017, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Burial in I.O.O.F. Cemetery New Haven, New Haven, Indiana.
