B. Joan "Jo" Wildermuth, 89, passed away Friday, September 29, 2017 in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, Jo was a graduate of North Side High School in 1946. She worked as a receptionist with Lincoln Life Insurance for 7 years, Lutheran Hospital for 17 years, and most recently at Trinity English Lutheran Church. She was an active member at Trinity English Lutheran Church where she was involved with the Dorcas Circle and the Church Chancel Choir. Jo was a former member of the Lutheran Choral Society. Surviving are her sons, Mark (Mary Leigh) Wildermuth of Mt. Vernon, OH, and Matt (Marjorie) Wildermuth of Naperville, IL; daughter, Kathy Wildermuth of Fort Wayne; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Lou Fagan of Bloomington, IN; and many nieces and nephews. Jo was preceded in death by husband, Robert Wildermuth; daughter, Julie Wildermuth-Baker; parents, J. Marion and Dollie Walborn; brother, John Walborn; and sisters, Vivian Regedanz, Sue Merz, and Mary Habig. Service is 1:30 pm, Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Trinity English Lutheran Church, 450 West Washington St with calling two hours prior beginning at 11:30 am. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
