Anne E Foelber, 91, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018. She was born in Sharon, PA on March 10, 1927, the daughter of the late Rev. Andrew and Anna Hvizdak.
Anne last worked as Executive Secretary to the President of ITT Co., Aerospace Division in Fort Wayne. Anne was a member of First Assembly of God in Fort Wayne, Hope of Israel Congregation in Valparaiso, IN and the Valparaiso University Guild.
She was dedicated to her family and passionate about her faith in God. All her family will remember the wonderful holiday dinners and celebrations at her Fort Wayne home, and the memorable vacations on Mackinac Island, MI.
Surviving are her son, David, Sr. (Christine) Foelber of Valparaiso; she also leaves three loving grandchildren, Joshua (Michelle) Foelber, David , Jr, (Faith) Foelber and Ruth (Kristopher) Martin and nine great grandchildren. She will always be remembered and greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Foelber and grandson, Dr. Jonathan R. Foelber, sisters Ruth (Merlin) Secrest, Olga (William) Abel, and three brothers, George Hvizdak, Gerald Hvizdak, and Lewis Hvizdak. She has one surviving sister, Irene (Jerry) Shestina.
The Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 1:30 pm EST at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, With calling from 12:00 pm EST to 1:30 EST. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne, IN.
Memorials may be made to First Assembly of God or to Hope of Israel Congregation.
