Anna Jean "Annie" (Gaskill) Gouloff, 87, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Lutheran Hospital surrounded by family members. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Annie was the daughter of the late Ellsworth and Garnet "Ilo" Gaskill. She worked at ITT Aerospace prior to her retirement in 1994. She was a longtime member of the International Order of Kingsdaughters and Sons and served as president for many years. She was also a member of the Moirae Study Club in years past. She loved playing pinochle in her monthly club with her lifelong friends. She loved parties and family gatherings, usually being the first to arrive and the last to leave. An outstanding athlete at Central High School, Annie lettered in three sports. Later she enjoyed playing golf, snow skiing, and volleyball. Her hobbies included scrapbooking, word search puzzles, photography, watching Purdue basketball, and she loved seeing the Cubs finally win the World Series. Her most favorite thing was being Baba to her grandchildren and "The Baba" to all the neighborhood families. Many remember swimming in the backyard pool because she welcomed everyone. She was truly loved by all because she loved all. She also loved living on her own, and thanks to the people at Aging and In-Home Services and Community Home Health Care, she was able to do just that for her final years. Surviving are her children, Phillip N. (Karen) Gouloff, Timothy Gouloff, Jeanni Gouloff (John) Musgrave, Vicky Gouloff, Nancy (Roger) Gouloff-Grabner all of Fort Wayne; also her "adopted" daughter Tabitha Mathis (Tracy); grandchildren, Nathan, Carly, and Abigail Grabner; step-grandchildren, Spencer and Joshua; step-great-grandchildren, Zoey, MacKenzie and Skyler; brother, Dale (Sabina) Gaskill of Fort Wayne, sisters, Martha Falk of Bluffton, Joyce (Larry) Correll of Lake James, Sharon (Lee) Thompson of New Haven, Linda Christ of Fort Wayne; and sister-in-law Margie Purdy of Tennessee. Annie was preceded in death by her husband Tanis "Tom" Gouloff, and brother Ned Gaskill. Calling on Monday, February 6, 2017, 2:00 pm-4:00 pm & 6:00 pm-8:00 pm at the D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue. Service is 11:00 am, Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at the same location, with calling one hour prior. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission, or Annie's grandchildren's educational fund.
