Anastasia "Raptis" Hatzigeorgiou, 56 of Fort Wayne, died peacefully on May 18, 2017. Born on July 5, 1960 in Fort Wayne, she attended South Side High School and worked at Friends Restaurant alongside her husband. She was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Surviving are her husband, Nikolaos "Nikos" G. Hatzigeorgiou; a daughter, Marianthi Hatzigeorgiou; a son, George "Yorgo" Hatzigeorgiou; four brothers: Chris (Kullie) Raptis of Chicago, IL., Kostantinos "Dino" (Kathy) Raptis, Spyros "Pete" Raptis, and Gregory (Heather) Raptis, all of Fort Wayne, a brother-in-law, Vasilis "Bill" (Angela) Hatzigeorgiou of Thessaloniki, Greece; eight nieces and nephews: Niko Raptis, Chris Jr. Raptis, Shannon Raptis, George (Stacy) Raptis, Christina (Michael) Raptis, Eleni (Sam) Raptis, Maria Hatzigeorgiou, Stella Hatzigeorgiou; 9 great-nieces and nephews: Zoe, Tommy, Alexander, Rowan, Lilith, Spyro, Lia, Yiani, Fox, extended family throughout America and Greece, and all her friends from "Friends". She was preceded in death by her parents George (2004) and Aphrodite (1997) Raptis, in-laws George (1966) and Maria (2016) Hatzigeorgiou, and sister-in-law Marianthi Hatzigeorgiou (1984). Service is 11 am, Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church with calling one hour prior, Fr. Andrew Walsh officiating. Calling at the Church, Tuesday, May 23, 2017, from 2 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm with a Trisagion Service at 8 pm. Burial will be in Krioneri, Greece. Donations may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
