Albert "George" Day III, 63, passed away Monday, August 29, 2016. He was born in Louisville, KY, on February 1, 1953. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, enjoyed cooking, and brewing homemade beer, he also owned his own pizza business "Georgie's Pizza" in Ossian for a number of years, and was a music lover of all sorts, but mostly Rock and Roll.
Surviving are his Spouse, Kathryn S. Day; mother, Elaine Korth Loser of Leesburg, IN; step-father, James Loser of Leesburg, IN; son, Jason R. Day of Fort Wayne, IN; daughter, Mona McGuire of TN; daughter, Adriane Day of Monroeville, IN; daughter, Stephanie Day of Monroeville, IN; 6 grandchildren; sister, Allison (Kevin) Robie of Leesburg, IN; step-sister, Renie Loser of Warsaw, IN; and his dog, Pumpkin.
George was preceded in death by his father, Albert George Day Jr.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am, Friday, September 2, 2016 at St. Jude Catholic Church with Fr. Jake Runyon officiating and calling 1 hour prior.
Visitation at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Ave., Thursday, September 1, 2016, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Burial in Catholic Cemetery , Fort Wayne, Indiana.
