Condolence & Memory Journal

Your Mom was my Mom's dearest friend. I want to say thank you for her willingness to pick Mom up for Star activities, to play cards and for choir practice. If it hadn't been for Mom's Star friends after my Dad died in 1980, her life wouldn't have been the same. They were willing to take her to the meetings and activities she enjoyed. Maggie, you were the greatest. I count it a privilege to have known you all those years. I know you are walking the "Streets of Gold" and are enjoying being with your Lord, Paul and many friends and other family members. Enjoy all the memories of a Mom who thought of others before herself.

You will be missed dearly! You touched many lives of people with that beautiful smile of yours and your kind words. I will never forget your sweet voice and laughter, even when times were tough you knew what to say to bring smiles to people's faces. I hope to one day be just like you, and keep making you proud that I am your granddaughter. I cannot say it enough, I am so proud to be able to call you my Nana. You always knew what to say when I was going through a rough time, I wont ever give up when times are rough. You showed me that we can be fighters and get through even the toughest situations. Have a wonderful time in Heaven with the Good Lord and Papa. I will be up there one day with you and making more good memories together. Thank you for everything you have done for me!

I Love you very much,

I consider it an honor and a privelage to have have had Maggie as part of my life for the last 47 years. Maggie was one of the most kind and loving people I've ever met and she will be missed by all. God has taken her from her pain, given her peace and reunited her with Paul of which I'm thankful. My deepest sympathies go out to Joyce, Jim & Steve. You were loved so much by your Mother and her grandchildren were her pride and joy.

Jim & Family...
My deepest sympathy on the loss of your Mother. I have so many fond memories of her at Eastern Star - her contagious smile and laugh and her always asking me if you behaved here at work (i told her yes)! You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Maggie was the light of her many friends and associates. Her humor was contagious, and was reflected in her writing over the many years she gave to others. We will all miss her very much, but know that she is looking down at us with her knowing smile saying, "It is beautiful here with God!" A friend and sister always...
