Condolence & Memory Journal

Dar was truly a wonderful, caring, loving individual who literally saved me after my husbands sudden unexpected death; she understood grief and those who grieve like no one else; her compassionate leadership in her grief group enabled me to arise each day, put one foot in front of the other, and keep going for me and my family. I will ever forget this amazing human being and I know she is so happily reunited with those who love her; God bless, sweet Dar

Dar was a friend of my aunt (Belle Washburn) and I came to know her after my younger brother died unexpectedly. She was very helpful to me at such a difficult time. I'm saddened to learn of her passing. My heartfelt sympathy to her family and friends.

My deepest condolences to the family. I will miss Dar desperately. I will miss our impromptu lunches at Casa's and how you shed the light of wisdom on many confusing situations. I remember the weekend us girls spent at your pool house and Don came down to join the party. So many precious memories. I guess the measure of how much you are loved is not by how many friends you have when alive but how many will miss you when you are gone. I cherished our friendship and will miss you always. God speed...
