I am so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. He was a great man and will be sorely missed by many.

When I was married to Michelle and in the Navy, Tom was the one who reached out to me to let me know when my daughter was born and to keep me updated on how the family was doing. As he was a former sailor, he knew how important these things were. But, that was the type of man that Tom was. He would go out of his way to help anyone who needed it. Long after Michelle and I split, we would still talk on occasion about how he was doing and about how his grandkids were.

I'll miss those occasional chats.

I'm so grateful I was able to speak and see my dad one more time just 2 days prior to his passing. He was in good spirits and joking like always.

You were my everything growing up dad, and I will miss you terribly. I pray that all is right with your soul.
