My deepest sorry for your loss. Please know you all are in my family's prayers. I had the pleasure of working with JJ as supplier to Nucor Fastener. I always enjoyed our negotiations and JJ's approach. We always kept things professional but after the meetings were finished we had a great time and truly enjoyed JJ's company and pleasant demeanor and approach to life!

My wife Nancy and I knew JJ and Angie through the Industrial Fasteners Institute where JJ and I served on the Board of Directors. JJ was always happy and enthusiastic; a pleasure to be around. When he accepted another assignment for Nucor and told us he would no longer be attending IFI meetings, we were happy for him, but sad to see him go.
Nancy and I send our deepest sympathies to JJ's family. He was a warm and special man.

J.J. was a wonderful leader. I had the opportunity to work 2 years with him at Nucor Fastener. He was encouraging and always supportive of his team. He was a driven individual who loved his family and Nucor. It is certainly heartbreaking to hear this news, but God brings comfort in letting us know that there is life beyond this life, and I'm confident that he is smiling that great smile and singing in the presence of Jesus.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
