I am sorry to hear of Steve's passing. We both came from the same neighborhood, a block from each other. We played basketball on the playground at Forest Park School.Steve was a great human being. Redskin Nation will sorely miss him.

Barb and family,
Please accept my deepest condolences with your loss. I followed Steve into the athletic office to be a manager upon his recommendation to Rollie Chambers. He truly was an inspiration to all the Redskins who knew him. God's Blessings. Steve Heine

I first met Steve at Forest Park Jr. HS. We were in home room together at North Side and I was also a manager with Steve. I am a member of Pro Fed and use to see Steve quite frequently. So sorry for his passing. Steve was such a nice person.

So sorry to read about Steve's passing. We grew up together in the Forest Park area. We shared many laughs and events through the 70 some years. Steve shared with me a few years ago how you two met. Neat story. He will be missed.

I would like to offer my sincere condolences to Steve's family, sorry for your loss. Jeremiah 29:11, 12 assures us that God is thinking thoughts of peace towards us, to give us a future and a hope, and that if we come and pray to Him, He will listen to us. May that bring you comfort in this time of sorrow.
