Dad was a hell of a man. Miss him. Condolences to Jan.

I did not know Arthur, but I just have a feeling in my heart that he was a great man. You folks are probably wondering why I am leaving a message to someone I didn't know, but I just want to spread joy in the world. God bless, my friend. Have a wonderful afterlife.

Whenever Uncle Art was visiting his Ohio Kinane family, we knew we were in for some fun. He was a great storyteller and would have everyone laughing so hard, they could barely speak.
We celebrate his good humor, kindness, and his long interesting life
and pray that you will be comforted by the happy memories you shared.

Hi Jan and all of the Kinane family --

We are so sad to hear about Art's passing. He was always such a kind person. Jan - you and Art were wonderful neighbors. Always so thoughtful and compassionate toward our kids, Peyton and Carson. Every Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day and other holidays, Carson and Peyton lit up with smiles every time they each received a special card from you with a cute note and a $2 bill inside. It was always such a fun treat for them.

We moved into our house across the street from Art and Jan in Grand Haven in 2006. I was 9 months pregnant with our first-born ... when she was born three weeks early. Put us in for a spin! Exactly two years later, our son was born. As new parents, it was wonderful to have Art and Jan across the street to talk with and enjoy the celebrations of young children. Our kids grew up with them across the street for nearly 10 years. It was a sad day for us when they moved from Grand Haven.

We're fortunate to have been able to visit with Art and Jan when we were in Fort Wayne earlier this fall -- and live just a few miles away from some of our family. Our kids love donuts -- just like Art. We had a lovely conversation with them in their new home as we relished Tim Horton's donuts.

Jan and to the rest of your family, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Our hearts go out to you. Funny Art's obituary notes his favorite farewell: "Always a pleasure." We recall him saying this to us many times over the years. Well, Art -- it's been our pleasure to have known you.

May you rest in peace,

-The Moroney family in Grand Haven, MI (Kyle, Jon, Peyton and Carson)

Sorry to hear of Art's passing, I would like to offer my sincere condolences to his family. Jeremiah 29:11, 12 assures us God is thinking thoughts of peace towards us, to give us a future and a hope, and that if we come and pray to Him, He will listen to us. In the days to come may you find comfort in that hope.
