Mildred P. Yeoman, 89, went to be with the Lord, October 6, 2018 at Kingston Care of Fort Wayne. She was born October 17, 1928 in Denver, Indiana. Mildred was the daughter of the late Vern and Mary Hudson. She married Donald I. Yeoman on July 2, 1946. She worked at Yeoman's Service Center as the Secretary for many years and was a Homemaker. Mildred was a member of Trier Ridge Community Church of God. Surviving are her son, Stephen (Linda) Yeoman of Ft. Wayne, daughter, Sandra (Tom) O'Brien of Athens, OH, son, Dan (Carol) Yeoman of Ft. Wayne, daughter, Pam (Dan) Ainsworth of Sherwood, Ohio, daughter, Lorie (Kenny) Harkenrider of Ft. Wayne, 11 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren, sister, Doris Nordman; twin brothers, Jerry and Larry Hudson, and sister, Marsha Helm. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald I. Yeoman of 72 years, her parents Vern and Mary Hudson, sister, Betty Clark, brother, Don Hudson, and brother, Floyd "Tiny" Hudson. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday, October 12, 2018 at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825, with visitation from 9 to 11 a.m. Pastor Ross Osborn officiating. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. also at the funeral home. Mildred will be laid to rest at Highland Park Cemetery. Memorial gifts can be made to Kingston Care of Ft. Wayne, 1010 W. Washington Blvd., Ft. Wayne 46825, or Heartland Hospice of Ft. Wayne, or Trier Ridge Church of God.

Just saw her obituary and it is nearly 2pm. My sincere sympathy to all of you. Mildred was a definite figure in my past. She and Don was instrumental in helping our family, my brother Tim and I especially, during very dark times in our childhood. So glad she gets to be with Jesus now. Much love!

Sorry for your loss. She was a beautiful lady who gave everyone a fair shake. She will be missed by all of you. However, she is now with the love of her life (Don) and they can dance in heaven.
