Condolence & Memory Journal

Sorry to hear of George's passing, I would like to offer my sincere condolences to his family. Jeremiah 29:11, 12 assures us God is thinking thoughts of peace towards us, to give us a future and a hope, and that if we come and pray to Him, He will listen to us. In the days to come may you find comfort in that hope.

I worked with George at Goodrich MANY years ago, and was pleasantly surprised to meet him again when I joined St. Nicholas Church. It was always good to see him every year at our Pan-Orthodox Vespers services during Great Lent, when he occasionally would kid me about going from tire-builder to clergy :). I will unfortunately be out of town this weekend, but he will be remembered at both Liturgies I'm serving this weekend, and in my prayers. My sympathies to the family, may God welcome him into the mansions of the just, and may his memory be eternal.
