So sad to her about Sherry passing.
Going to school with Sherry you could always count on her smile. And boy could she speak her mind. Sherry didn't hold anything back, she would give you the straight scoop. And that is what a true friend is. We may have not realized what a true friend is in high school, but as we get older we appreciate that person for who they were.
You will be missed at our next class reunion. We will light a candle for you.

Sherry was my best friend throughout elementary school and high school. I hold so many sweet memories of us growing up together but my most treasured are the intimate, private talks we've shared in the past few years. RIP Sherry. I will miss you❤❤❤

Growing up, we spent lots of time with Sherry, Garry and Jerry. When they visited us in Kansas, we 6 cousins slept in the basement. At bedtime, it was a free for all of laughter and craziness until the dads started talking to the floor. A sudden hush filled the room until somebody passed gas or we started giggling, which would then erupted into snorts and cackling.
The dads voices raised in aggravation and the crowd in the basement quieted for a few brief moments . More giggles, more snorts, and more gut-busting laughter were cut short by the dads words "you don't want to make me come down there." We knew they were serious. But it happened every night we were together. And we laughed and cackled and snorted.
Our cousins weren't just family, they were our friends. I will miss my cousin Sherry and my very dear friend.
I know she's dancing with Jesus and that the joy she sought has returned to her soul. It is well, it is well.

We had a lot of laughs and hugs back in the day. She was so quietly tough. I admired that so much. And her sense of humor. If anyone were to doubt the affection and love people felt for Sherry, all they'd have to do is look around this last week to see it for themselves. It's everywhere. Always was. My sincere condolences to her family and friends. She lives on in our memories.
