I knew Mrs. Crabil through my high school friend Sue. I always felt welcome in their home and trusted as Sue's friend. My own home life was chaotic so I appreciated the 'normalcy' of Sue's family. I remember Mrs. Crabill as an oasis of calm. My life is better from knowing her.

From the Komanec Family (Apple Acres, Leo),

Sorry for your loss. Our parents are gone too (Jim & Gloria Komanec).
Prayers for all of you. She was a very nice lady.

To the Crabill family,
So sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you. May you find peace in knowing that she is HOME.

As a newborn in the Ruhl Hoagland farmhouse I was fortunate to have my Mom, Grandma, and my teenage Aunt Velma to love and care for me. Seventy seven years later I can still feel the comfort and love. Thank you Aunt Velma, you will be missed and remembered by many.

I have fond memories of the "Crabill Clan" from our years at Leo UM Church. Your mom was a lovely lady. I pray that you will find peace and comfort knowing that she is reunited with your dad and resting safely in the arms of Jesus. Fondly,

Velma was such a sweet and loving woman, and all her children are a credit to her faith and integrity. She lives on through them.

I loved taking care of Velma at Lincolnshire Place. Her laugh could lighten the room and her smile will be remembered forever. ❤
