I knew Mrs. Crabil through my high school friend Sue. I always felt welcome in their home and trusted as Sue's friend. My own home life was chaotic so I appreciated the 'normalcy' of Sue's family. I remember Mrs. Crabill as an oasis of calm. My life is better from knowing her.

As a newborn in the Ruhl Hoagland farmhouse I was fortunate to have my Mom, Grandma, and my teenage Aunt Velma to love and care for me. Seventy seven years later I can still feel the comfort and love. Thank you Aunt Velma, you will be missed and remembered by many.

Velma was such a sweet and loving woman, and all her children are a credit to her faith and integrity. She lives on through them.

I loved taking care of Velma at Lincolnshire Place. Her laugh could lighten the room and her smile will be remembered forever. ❤
