I learned so much under Dr. Wes, I cannot imagine where I would be today without his influence in my life. Jeanne and John and the rest of your family will be in my prayers. I am sure that Dr. Wes is celebrating in heaven today.

We had not spoken to Dr. Wes in years. He taught a SS class that we visited. We were blessed that he remembered us and was so very gracious as we spoke with him. He was a true man of God and an example of Christ to everyone. Our prayers are for comfort for the family that he do clearly loved.

Almost as much as I loved his teaching, I loved his stories of his grandmother and their relationship. This same godly heritage has been passed on to you, his family, and I pray that each of you in his or her own way will pass it on to your progeny as well. May the God of all comfort surround you with His peace, love, and even joy as you walk the path of grieving.

Love and prayers today and the days ahead. Heaven is sure sweeter. I loved your parents. I learned so much from not only Dr Wes's class but his life and love for Mary Carolyn. What a heritage! What a legacy! Much love and prayers.

A much-loved man of God whom God used to touch so many lives including ours. The interim pastoral time he spent at First Missionary Church in Berne was a blessed time for us and for the church. He rejoices with Jesus!

I will never forget his influence on my Christian life and growth in studying the Word. He was a inspirational light as he pastored at Grace Church.

One of the most Godly men I have ever had the privilege of learning from. A great defender of God's Word. He earned my utmost respect. Last time we met he gave me a copy of his Doctoral Thesis which I value highly. The body of CHRIST was enriched by his life. He will be truly missed.

I never got good grades in his class but when I came to him one on one he showed such compassion. He will be missed by many and me. Prayers for your family during this time of loss.

Dr. Wes was one of my earliest acquaintances as a boy of the Missionary Church and FWBC As he and his wife were guest in our home for Sunday dinner. Later he was my teacher at FWBC for which I am grateful for his teaching and example of a godly follower of Christ. My wife also, a better student, enjoyed his theology and Romans classes as well. May the Lord give you peace and comfort as you grieve your lose
