Paul had such a dignity about his sickness because he knew what was ahead was something to look forward to. It doesn't diminish the sadness you and your family will experience having lost Paul too soon. Two Bible verses that come to mind: 2 Timothy 4:7 I have fished the race, I have fought the good fight, I have kept the faith." and Revelations 2:10 "be faithful until death and I will give you the crown of life."
