I just heard of Roger's passing. What a loss this is. We met about 20 years ago through Stockbridge Audubon. Roger was always kind and helpful. I've missed seeing your posts on Birding News. Now I know why. May your family receive comfort.

I was so sorry to hear of Rodger's passing. Rodger, thank you for sharing your amazing gifts and talents with all of us as fellow birders. To his family, may you find peace and comfort in knowing he made such an imprint on so many people.

My condolences to all the family, especially Mr. Rang and Robin. I was out of state and wasn't aware of his passing. (Robin, Brian and Alan's mom). He was such a wonderful guy. Ann in Micro (ret.).

Growing up in grade school he was always Pat. Lots of good memories hanging out, playing basketball, just being goofy teenagers. Rick Arend, Doug and Ron Katt, Mike LeClear, Dan Hicks and Rodger's brother John - at some point or another we were doing something together. Into high school He became Rodger and he let me be an honorary member of the "white coat" gang. Rodger was an athlete, a scholar, and most importantly - a friend. We lost track

Dearest Nan and Mariesa I cannot tell you how saddened I am to hear of Rodger's passing. I know he will be missed greatly. I had just recently thought of him when I was walking near my home. It is a marshy area near the great Salt Lake. There are so many different birds that migrate there. I will always think of him and both of you when I walk there. May your family and friends help comfort you. Your in my heart Love Holly G

LOVED reading his postings of bird sightings!
Only met him one time, he graciously met us in FW subdivision
to show us location of green heron nest sites near his home, I do believe.
Surely a great birder...will be sadly missed.

Our sincerest sympathies to the family, E&D Hall /Mississinewa Audubon, Marion
